ARTUS-
Advanced Receiver Terminal For User Services

While the GALILEO core system is developed in the frame of the ESA IOV phase, supported by the GSTB experimentation test beds, it is necessary to develop in parallel the user application driven user terminals, ensuring that commercial competitive receivers are available as products or through applications and services, as soon as GALILEO service is available. The four main activities in the frame of the ARTUS development are:

• Investigation of Core Technologies.

• Development of ARTUS receiver prototype.

• Development of verification signal generator.

• Validation of ARTUS prototype (with full receiver chain in real environment with SIS transmission).
